This video is a complete, one-day seminar - professionally filmed and edited. With it, you will learn how to use hypnosis to assist clients' suffering from Fibromyalgia and other connective tissue diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupis and Sclerosis. Created by the author of the Complementary Medical Hypnotism Curriculum of the National Guild of Hypnotists, and the only hypnotherapist approved as a speaker by the American Arthritis Foundation, this course is intended as an adjunct to the treatment received from a physician. In addition to advanced pain management strategies beyond those contained in the Guild's medical curriculum, this seminar will instruct participants in two additional techniques: hypnotic acupuncture and new styles of ego-strengthening. The Rev. Dr. C. Scot Giles specializes in working with clients who have life-changing medical conditions. He is a psychiatric chaplain and the director of the Wheaton Regional Office of Counseling Ministries, a Chicago-area ecumenical group pastoral counseling and care organization. Dr. Giles holds two degrees in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut and his Doctor of Ministry degree is from Meadville/Lombard Theological School at the University of Chicago. He is National Guild of Hypnotists Board Certified and author of the Complementary Medical Certification Program sponsored by the National Guild of Hypnotists, and is a member of the Leidecker Institute faculty.
